Within the frames of the project “Georgia – Homeland of Wine”, presentation about tourism potential of Georgia was held for the representatives of Japanese tourist companies at Terrada Republic / TMMT Hall, Tokyo.
Diamond Trophy, the highest award of Sakura in Japan, was handed over to Qisi 2017 wine made by Vaziani Winery (the line of Makashvili Wine Cellar).
According to the National Wine Agency, Georgian wines of various denominations in Japan, international competition “Sakura” won following awards.
The Center of Georgian Culture will open in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus, where Georgian products will be sold.
The company Schuchmann Wines Georgia plans to develop medical tourism, for which the rehabilitation-recreational complex will be built.
6,6 million GEL is planned to be spent for Georgian wine popularization on international market. National Wine Agency is waiting for consent from the Procurement Agency.
