Red Bridge to Lead Georgian Wine Marketing Campaign in Japan

With financial support from the Georgian National Wine Agency and organized by marketing company Red Bridge, a series of Georgian wine tasting seminars will be held in various cities across Japan for wine professionals and commercial representatives in the wine trade. In addition, wine tours to Georgia will be organized for Japanese wine professionals and media representatives.

The Georgian National Wine Agency has been cooperating with Red Bridge since 2017. The company is led by Kenichi Ohashi, the only Master of Wine in Japan.

Japan is one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine in Asia. With the support of the National Wine Agency, the first large-scale presentation of Georgian wine in Japan took place in 2014. In the following years, Georgian wine companies, also with the Agency’s support, participated in international exhibitions such as Foodex Japan, Wine and Gourmet Japan, RAW Wine Tokyo, and ProWein Tokyo, as well as local wine competitions and tasting presentations held in various cities across Japan.

One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency’s activities is to promote Georgian wine and increase its awareness in international markets. In order to diversify export markets, the Agency implements targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the United States, as well as in countries across Europe and Asia.
