Qvevri Wine Producers Participated in the SLOW WINE FAIR Exhibition in Bologna, Italy

With the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, nine qvevri wine-producing companies participated in the international natural wine exhibition SLOW WINE FAIR, held in Bologna, Italy: Andrias Wine, Velino, Chortauli Vineyards, Gotsa’s Wine, Baaduri 1933 Winery, Kondoli Winery, Sherma Family Winery, and Niabi Winery.

At the SLOW WINE FAIR exhibition, nearly 1,000 wine companies from around the world presented their products, the majority of which were organic and biodynamic wines.

Traditionally, the exhibition attracts up to 20,000 visitors, including representatives of the Horeca sector, distributors, and importers. This is important for promoting qvevri wine, identifying business partners, and ultimately increasing Georgian wine exports.

SLOW WINE FAIR was held for the fifth time. Georgian wineries participated in the exhibition for the second time.

The Consul General of Georgia in Milan, Natalia Kordzaia, attended the exhibition.

One of the main priorities of the National Wine Agency is to promote Georgian wine and increase its visibility in international markets. In order to diversify wine export markets, the Agency implements targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the United States, as well as in European and Asian countries.
