"Ia's Winery" Prepares to Enter the UK and US Markets

"Ia's Winery" is gearing up to enter the markets of England and the USA, with the first exports expected in the summer of 2025, according to founder and director Ia Imerlishvili. Speaking to Business Partner, she highlighted the growing interest in Georgian wine, both locally and abroad.

“This year’s harvest has been good, allowing us to produce up to 5,000 bottles of wine. We currently offer six types of wine, which are sold in both local and export markets. We’re already exporting to Poland and Germany, but are now working on expanding into larger markets. So far, 30% of our production is exported," said Imerlishvili.

On the local market, "Ia's Winery" wines are available in various shops and bar-restaurants. The winery also offers tastings at its cellar in Gurjaani, where visitors can purchase wines directly.

Founded in 2020, "Ia's Winery" produces both Qvevri and European-style craft wines using grapes from its own vineyards.
