Harvest Season in Kakheti Traditionally Begins in Dedoplistskaro Municipality
The grape harvest (Rtveli) has officially started in Kakheti, traditionally beginning in Dedoplistskaro Municipality.
Farmers in the region have already begun picking grapes from early-ripening vineyards. The harvest season is an important event for Kakheti, both culturally and economically, marking the busiest period for local winemakers.
The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia notes that all necessary infrastructure and organizational measures have been put in place to ensure the smooth and timely collection of grapes.
