Georgian Wine Showcased in Chicago as Part of the Wines of Georgia on Tour Campaign

As part of the Wines of Georgia on Tour campaign, a Georgian wine tasting and presentation was held in Chicago, providing wine professionals, trade representatives, and wine enthusiasts with an opportunity to discover the diversity of Georgian wine.

The event was led by renowned sommelier Jim Bube, who introduced guests to more than 60 Georgian wines. Georgian wines attracted significant interest from participants and received highly positive evaluations throughout the tasting.

The Chicago event is part of the broader Wines of Georgia on Tour series, which will be held across various U.S. states. The initiative aims to increase awareness of Georgian wine, strengthen its position in the American market, and create new export opportunities for Georgian producers.

The United States remains one of the most strategic export markets for Georgian wine, characterized by both high quality standards and intense competition. In recent years, numerous marketing and tasting events supported by the National Wine Agency have played an important role in increasing both the visibility of Georgian wine and export volumes in the U.S. market.

The U.S. is also one of the highest-value markets for Georgian wine. The average export price of Georgian wine to the United States is approximately USD 6 per liter, reflecting the growing recognition of Georgian wine as a premium product among American consumers and industry professionals.
