With the financial support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and organized by the Georgian Wine Association, the event took place at SALT Galata, a historic and cultural venue in the Republic of Turkey.
The event, titled Georgian Wine in Focus, included a masterclass and tasting, featuring wines from 15 Georgian wine-producing companies.
The presentation was attended by wine professionals, buyers, representatives of the HoReCa sector, and other interested stakeholders.
It is worth noting that the Georgian Wine Association, with the support of the National Wine Agency, has been actively and successfully operating in the Turkish market since 2021. Within this cooperation, targeted promotional activities are carried out annually, aimed at increasing awareness of Georgian wine, strengthening its market positioning, and boosting exports.
Exports of Georgian wine to Turkey continue to show steady growth. In the first quarter of this year, wine exports from Georgia to Turkey reached USD 480,000, marking a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.
