Georgian Wine Showcased at Georgia's Independence Day Reception in Ankara

Georgian wine was showcased at a reception marking Georgia's Independence Day, organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Türkiye.

With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, a dedicated "Georgian Wine Corner" was arranged as part of the event, where guests had the opportunity to taste a selection of Georgian wines while learning about the country's rich winemaking history, centuries-old traditions, unique wine culture, and modern wine industry.

The reception was attended by approximately 400 guests, including senior officials from the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Ankara, representatives of international organizations, members of historical Georgian diaspora associations in Türkiye, business leaders, tourism industry representatives, think tanks, cultural organizations, and leading Turkish media outlets.

The presentation of Georgian wine at high-profile international events such as this aims to further raise awareness of Georgian wine and create new export opportunities in international markets.
