Georgian Wine Presented in Germany
A Georgian wine tasting was held on the German island of Sylt, organised by the National Wine Agency’s contracted marketing company, ff.k Public Relations, with financial support from the agency.
The presentation was led by Nils Lackner, a prominent sommelier and lecturer in the German wine market.
The event welcomed 35 wine enthusiasts and professionals, who had the opportunity to taste 10 different Georgian wines. Georgian cuisine was also showcased during the tasting.
The National Wine Agency has been working with ff.k Public Relations since 2021. The campaign includes tastings and seminars in various German cities for wine professionals, trade representatives, and consumers. Georgian wines are also presented at international exhibitions, supported by targeted advertising and media campaigns. In addition, wine tours to Georgia are organised for media representatives, wine professionals, and sales specialists.
Georgian wine exports to Germany continue to grow. From January to August this year, Georgia exported more than one million litres of wine to Germany, a 29% increase compared with the same period last year.
