Georgian Wine Presented at Milano Wine Week 2025

With the support of the National Wine Agency and the Consulate General of Georgia in Milan, Georgian wine was showcased at the 8th international wine festival in Milan, Italy — Milano Wine Week 2025.

The 9-day festival, which targets wine industry professionals, consumers, media, and commercial representatives, featured several events dedicated to the presentation of Georgian wine.

Irakli Cholobargia, Event Manager of the National Wine Agency, conducted a presentation and masterclass on Georgian wine for wine professionals, importers, retail chains, and media representatives. Walk-around tastings were also held during the event.

The Consul General of Georgia in Milan, Natalia Kordzaia, attended the Georgian wine presentation.

Traditionally, the festival attracts over 5,000 wine industry professionals and consumers from Italy and across the world.

Participation in such international events serves as an excellent opportunity to increase the awareness of Georgian wine among both professionals and consumers.

One of the key directions of the National Wine Agency's activities is the promotion and global awareness of Georgian wine. Since 2013, the Agency has been implementing targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the markets of America, Europe, and Southeast Asia to diversify export destinations. With financial and organizational support from the Agency, Georgian wine was presented at 21 exhibitions and festivals and featured in up to 200 tasting seminars across 20 countries in the first 9 months of 2025.
