With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and organized by the America-Georgia Business Council, the 9th Georgian Wine Forum was held in Philadelphia.
The two-day event, hosted at the University of Pennsylvania, included a scientific conference and a seminar-presentation of Georgian wine. Guests had the opportunity to learn about Georgia and its wine culture, as well as to taste Georgian wines.
The conference featured participation from Stephen Batiuk, Bill Schindler, as well as sommeliers and marketing specialists.
Traditionally, the Georgian Wine Forum includes a scientific conference where researchers from different countries present and discuss studies related to Georgian viticulture and wine history.
The Georgian Wine Forum was first held in the United States in 2018 in Washington, D.C..
The United States is a strategic market for Georgian wine. With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, various important events—including the Georgian Wine Forum—are organized to promote Georgian wine, increase awareness, and support export growth.
