Krakow, Poland, recently witnessed a remarkable celebration of Georgian wine, with the city hosting the Georgian Wine Festival. This joint venture was orchestrated by the National Wine Agency of Georgia and Polish marketing company Malinova, aiming to highlight the exquisite products from Georgian vineyards to a broader Polish audience.

Tamta Naidze, Head of Marketing and Public Relations at the National Wine Agency, outlined the core objective of the festival as enhancing collaborations with large import companies and network markets within Poland. Accordingly, festival attendees and participating entities were carefully selected in alignment with this goal.

The event was graced by several representatives of major chain markets and wine import companies, including Makro Cash&Carry, Biedronka, Vininnova, Zasada Group, Food&Wine, and Dom Wina, among others. A total of 120 wine enthusiasts and industry professionals convened to enjoy and learn more about Georgian wine culture.

Eight esteemed Georgian wine producers showcased their products, which included offerings from small wineries. The guests were treated to an immersive experience, with company representatives providing insights into their respective offerings.

Diana Zghenti, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Poland, was among the distinguished attendees, symbolizing the importance of this event.

Poland is a strategic market for Georgian wine, consistently securing a position within the top five export destinations for the product. As per the National Wine Agency, active marketing campaigns are underway to sustain and bolster Georgian wine's expanding exports, with Poland being a key focus this year.
