At the international natural wine exhibition RAW Wine Paris 2026, held in Paris, nine qvevri wine producers participated with the support of the National Wine Agency: “Anapea,” “Sherma Family Winery,” “Andrias Wine,” “Gotsa’s Wine,” “Artana,” “Gonjebis Wine,” “Batsashvili Wine Gallery,” “Manavi Wines,” and “Winery Tilisma.”
RAW Wine is one of the most distinguished international exhibitions dedicated to high-quality natural, organic, and biodynamic wines. The exhibition is organized by renowned French Master of Wine Isabelle Legeron.
This year, nearly 200 natural wine producers from 16 countries were represented at the Paris exhibition, including countries famous for their winemaking traditions such as France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and others. Traditionally, there was strong interest in Georgian wine from wine professionals and visitors.
The Chairman of the National Wine Agency, Levan Mekhuzla, attended the exhibition.
“This year, we are actively continuing our support for small wineries to ensure their products are widely represented at international exhibitions. RAW Wine gives Georgian winemakers the opportunity to find new partners and export markets. Representing Georgia at this prestigious natural wine exhibition is important for promoting qvevri wine and supporting the development of small and medium-sized wineries. Participation in such international exhibitions motivates winemakers to further improve the quality and image of their products,” noted Levan Mekhuzla.
The exhibition was also attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Georgian Embassy in the French Republic, Ekaterine Kokaia, and Consul Rusudan Didabulidze. Georgian winemakers also received support from the Georgian Embassy in France in presenting their wines at RAW Wine.
It is noteworthy that with the support of the National Wine Agency, qvevri wine producers will participate in RAW Wine exhibitions in various countries throughout 2026.
