17th WinExpo Georgia Opens, Showcasing Global Wine and Spirits Industry

The 17th International Wine and Spirits Exhibition WinExpo Georgia 2025 officially opened on June 6 in Tbilisi.

The event is held within the framework of the state program for promoting Georgian wine production in the local market, implemented by the National Wine Agency in coordination with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. The program supports wine exhibitions, competitions, and festivals throughout the country, contributing to the growth of wine tourism and consumer culture.

Organized by ExpoGeorgia Exhibition Center, WinExpo Georgia 2025 features approximately 200 companies from seven countries — Germany, Armenia, Austria, Italy, France, Portugal, and Turkey. Exhibitors include large and medium-sized wine and spirits producers, small wineries, and companies offering wine technologies, packaging materials, viticulture and winemaking machinery, accessories, and related services.

WinExpo Georgia is the country’s largest international platform for the wine and spirits industry, aimed at promoting Georgian wine and winemaking traditions to a global audience.

The exhibition attracts wine professionals from across the globe. One of the highlights of the event is the WinExport FORUM, where international importers meet directly with Georgian wine producers to foster new business connections.

Also taking place within the exhibition is the 15th Georgia International Wine Award competition, judged by a panel of renowned international wine experts. Around 200 wine samples have been submitted, with winners set to be announced in seven categories and awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.

WinExpo Georgia 2025 is being held from June 6–8 in Pavilion 11 of the ExpoGeorgia Exhibition Center in Tbilisi.
