Tourist Infrastructure to be Arranged Near Zarzma Monastery
Arrangement of tourist infrastructure and urgent restoration works are underway near Zarzma Monastery.
The project is implemented by the Municipal Development Fund with the funding of the World Bank.
According to the foundation, the project includes conservation of historical source and rehabilitation of the damaged dome of Zarzma Monastery. A trail leading to the Tamar spring with cultural heritage status and a visitor center are also being constructed.
Arrangement of tourist infrastructure and emergency restoration works at Zarzma Monastery will be completed in early 2021.
