Tourism Season Officially Opens in Adjara

The 2021 summer tourism season has officially opened in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia.

Various events will be held at Batumi Boulevard in relation to the season inauguration, including the Kites Show along the Batumi coastline, performances by Pantomime Theater, aviation show at the Tower of Alphabet, Ballet under the Open Ski and DJ summer theater.

As part of the season inauguration events, all museums of the region, Petra Fortress, and Gonio Apsaros Castle-Museum will host visitors free of charge. Batumi State Drama Theater will stage the free performance Hellados for guests. “The summer tourism season will officially open in Adjara on June 15. This signifies that food, accommodation, and other facilities have already established the required safety standards.

This year we must demonstrate special care for tourists. We will host tourists from the neighboring countries and other target markets, from where regular flights are fulfilled to Batumi. Besides diverse seaside tourism products, we also provide diverse tourism opportunities in highland Adjara with new tourism routes and products”, Tinatin Zoidze, head of the Adjara Tourism Department, noted. 0 Comments
