Summer Season in Gudauri, Bakuriani and Svaneti to Open on July 10
“Ski Resorts Development Company of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development will open the summer season in Gudauri, Bakuriani, and Svaneti on July 10.
In the summer season, all cableways in Bakuriani (Didveli) will work from 11:00 to 17:00 o’clock, while Gudauri visitors will enjoy Gudauri (gondola) and Kobi-Gudauri cableways from 11:00 to 17:00 o’clock. In Svaneti, Mestia-Hatsvali and Zuruldi cableways will operate from 10:00 to 16:30 o’clock.
Ski resorts must grow into all-season resorts in order to develop and popularize them. In this regard, the country has arranged 6,000-meter international-standard cycle tracks in Bakuriani (Didveli).
A 5,000-meter cycle track runs in Gudauri too. Tracks serve both professional and armature cyclists. Toboggan service will also function in Bakuriani (Didveli), the first toboggan attraction in South Caucasus.
