"The decision is very important because of the introduction of mandatory regulations for the tourism sector amid COVID-19. In order to provide maximum support, the Coordinating Council has decided to equate the standards set for tourist transport with the regulations for intercity transport. This decision will facilitate the operation of transport companies in the tourism sector in a way that protects the health of citizens. With COVID-19, we are trying our best to encourage the private sector to adapt to the new standards, ”said Mariam Kvrivishvili, head of the National Tourism Administration.
