Schuchmann Group Plans to Develop Medical Spa Direction

The company "Schuchmann Group" plans to develop a medical spa direction.

Nutsa Abramishvili, General Director of the company, told Business Partner that medical tourism is the direction in which Georgia should establish one of the most competitive places on the tourist map.

According to her, Schuchmann Wines Georgia is actively working on the concept of spa development within the framework of diversified business.

"The first project created by the company was a wine spa. There is also a line of wine cosmetics, which is used exclusively for our guests. Due to high interest and demand, the Schuchmann Group, together with the Maidan Group, has opened the Schuchmann Wine Spa at the Tbilisi Balneological Resort, which is similar to the wine spa in Kakheti, but there are other health-improving balneological procedures," Abramishvili said.

According to Abramishvili, due to the pandemic, Schuchmann Chateau no longer has international visitors, but the company managed to replace the tourists with Georgians, which is quite important and beneficial.

"This is important not only for our company, or for Kakheti, but also for the country. Georgians have started to travel to local tourist destinations, which means that this will increase their loyalty in the future and remain important in the Georgian economy," Abramishvili said.
