Planting of greenery on Maltakva coastline and improvement of the island district is underway in Poti.

Alexander Motserelia, State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, together with his deputies and representatives of the local government, got acquainted with the landscaping and planting works on the island district and Maltakva coast in Poti.

The second phase of the rehabilitation of the island's coastline is underway, which envisages the construction of an open sports-recreation complex, namely: a tennis court, a mini-football field and a small recreation square. Open parking lots will be arranged on all three sides of the complex. A pensioners' house is under construction. Along the street, a pedestrian path will be arranged on the boulevard by the sea and the dam will be reconstructed.
