Gemo Fest to Debut in Zugdidi on September 7-8

For the first time, Gemo Fest will be held in Zugdidi, Samegrelo, on September 7-8. Organized by the National Tourism Administration, the festival will take place in the city's beautiful Botanical Garden.

Ahead of the festival, participants had the chance to meet experienced chefs, who provided training and master classes, sharing their expertise with future festival participants.

At the event, local chefs from various municipalities in Samegrelo will present traditional, rare, and lesser-known Megrelian dishes for guests to taste. In addition to the food offerings, the festival will feature a food zone, an agro market, a children's entertainment corner, and a live concert with performances by various artists.

The goal of Gemo Fest is to promote local Georgian cuisine, support small businesses and families, and attract both domestic and international visitors to the region.
