Ecotourism Trail to Arrange in Nedzvi Reserve

A new eco-tourism trail will be arranged in the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, in Nedzvi Reserve.

230,000 GEL will be invested in arranging a 32-kilometer circular path. The project is financially supported by the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF).

Panoramic trails are connecting village Akhaldaba, mountains Didi Karta and Shuano, and village Nedzvi with each other.

The trail will be marked in accordance with national regulations, information desks will be arranged. Tourist shelter will be built near mountain Shuano.

"Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is one of the most popular places among hikers. This is the reason why we try to develop and renew tourist services to make traveling in the park even more interesting. Agency for Protected Areas continues to develop eco-tourism infrastructure and cooperates with the number of donor organizations. We also planned other important projects. With the financial support of Caucasus Nature Fund, new tourist trail will soon be able to receive visitors.", declared Valerian Mchedlidze, chairman of Agency of Protected Areas.
