300 Flights a Week to Complete at Georgian International Airports

Georgia is returning to the growth dynamics of air traffic. According to the government report, flights were restored by 85%, while the rate of passenger flow recovery was recorded at 43%.

From June 2021, low-budget airlines entered the Georgian aviation market, such as Eurowings; Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.

In addition to this, the following airlines started operating in Georgia: Condor, FLYONE Armenia, Iranian airline Varesh Airlines and Saudi Arabian airline flydeal.

An average of 300 flights a week are completed at Georgian international airports. During the summer navigation season, flights are operated by 36 airlines in 72 destinations in 31 countries, with a frequency of approximately 415-420 per week, which, according to government estimates, will have a positive impact on passenger flow and the gradual recovery of tourism in the country.
