Ni.Koli Founder on Designing Handmade Body Accessories
Ni.KoLi is an online store of diverse handmade accessories. Started by Nini Nikolashvili, the brand offers both edgy and sophisticated items, including body accessories. Nini tells CBW how she decided to start her own business:
''Art has always fascinated me and as a child I loved to paint, which is what led me to my current activities.
Pandemic put us into self-isolation, consequently I wanted to take advantage of free time that we suddenly got. In my normal life, I would have never had so much time to devote to my work.
At first I started making necklaces and bracelets that were not much different from any other brand of jewelry.
Since I love customizing different styles of clothing and accessories, I decided to make my own accessories stand out from all the brands and started creating different styles of body accessories as well.
I would advise novice designers not to copy their competitors and create what sets their brand apart from other brands - this will be their biggest success,''-said Nini Nikolashvili.
Ni.Koli accessories will soon be on display at Mickevichi# 6 in the Tommyshoes.ge store, Nini also started to create clothing that will be street style, both casual and sophisticated and suitable for evening parties.
