Economy Minister: Our Goal is to Invest Over GEL 1 billion in Georgian Startups by 2030

"We plan to develop a knowledge-based economy. To this end, we have been implementing important projects for startup industry development, Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava said.

“We support globally competitive startup projects and we have already achieved very positive results in terms of attracting new investments from Silicon Valley. Over the past period, we have financed at least 135 new startup projects as part of our program.

We plan to finance 485 startups by 2030 and make this sector attractive for private investors. Our goal is to have invested over GEL 1 billion in Georgia startups”, the Economy Minister said.
