Racha Hosts Agri-Tourism Festival Presenting 100 Local Farmers

Ambrolauri will host "Agri-tourism Festival 2021" on November 26.

The event will present local products of up to 100 farmers from Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Lentekhi, Mestia, Tkibuli, Chiatura and Sachkhere municipalities, such as wine, honey, ham, cheese, potatoes, tea, etc.

The aim of the festival is to establish market links in the local market, in the mountainous regions, between the hotel and restaurant sector and agricultural producers, and to raise awareness/popularize the fields of agri-tourism and organic agriculture.

The festival will be held in an open space in the central square of Ambrolauri Municipality. The event will be opened by high-ranking representatives of the EU Delegation to Georgia, the Swedish and Austrian Embassies, the Governor of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, and a representative of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.

The event is organized by the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Agri-tourism Development Association. The festival partners are the Ambrolauri Municipality, the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Administration, the National Tourism Agency and the National Wine Agency.
