USAID to Launch Georgia’s Energy Future Securing Program Worth $15.7 Million

Securing Georgia’s Energy Future Program (SGEFP) will help the country diversify its energy resources.

The USAID program’s budget is $15.7 million. The 5-year program aims to shape an attractive, flexible, professional, and transparent market for private investors. The Securing Georgia’s Energy Future Program (SGEFP will be officially inaugurated at Gori Wind Power Station at 11 o’clock on July 28.

The opening ceremony will be attended by US Ambassador in Georgia Kelly Degnan and Georgian Economy Minster Natia Turnava.
