Trade Turnover between Georgia and Hungary has Doubled

This year, the trade turnover between Georgia and Hungary has doubled, which confirms the intensified economic relations between the two countries, - said Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili.

According to him, after long negotiations, an agreement on the protection and recognition of investments was signed between Georgia and Hungary, which will be officially approved after certain procedures.

"As part of the Prime Minister's official visit, a bilateral economic commission will be held, within which we will discuss various directions of cooperation. It is especially noteworthy that this year the trade turnover between the two countries has doubled. This emphasizes the intensified economic relations between Hungary and Georgia.

After long negotiations, we made an agreement on the protection and recognition of investments, which will be officially completed after certain procedures and will be approved, and I am sure that the new strategic cooperation agreement will also contribute to the further deepening of economic relations between the countries", said Levan Davitashvili.
