Tornike Rizhvadze - Investment Package will Reach Six Billion in Adjara this Year

This year, the investment package in Adjara will reach six billion, - Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Tornike Rizvadze stated at a government meeting today.

“We have a 43 percent growth in FDI. FDI is different from the investment portfolio and every qualified person knows it. As part of the investment portfolio we have up to four billion. Also, this year we are going to make it grow to six billion GEL. This year two thousand jobs were created in Adjara and we will continue to work this year to have at least six thousand jobs, ”said Tornike Rizvadze.

The Chairman of the Government of Adjara also announced construction of the buildings in so called Cardboard City will begin in February and the winning construction will be announced these days.

According to Tornike Rizvadze, the salary of the employees in the field of education will also increase this year.
