The Ministry of Culture Starting to Create a Register of Masters to Restore Cultural Heritage
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs is starting to create a register of restoration-conservation masters of cultural heritage monuments. From 2022 it is planned to launch their certification system.
Tea Tsulukiani spoke about it at a briefing held at the Ministry. According to her, the Ministry will accept applications from the following masters of the profession:
- Stonemasson (stone-cutter; carver cutter; decorator);
- Carpentner; Performers of each carpentry job.
- Bricklayer;
- Roofing master (tile-lorfin masters; metalworking masters)
- blacksmith-locksmith;
- furniture-maker; Decorator.
From today until June 15, practicing masters can apply to the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, the official e-mail info@culture.gov.ge or the hotline at 2-022-229. To be invited for an interview, a person must submit their CV and list the work done in the past.
