The Caucasus’ First Enterprise of Proteins and Other Supplements Opens in Tbilisi
A new Georgian enterprise has launched an operation with the support of the Enterprise Georgia government program.
The company founders have invested around GEL 2 million, Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava noted when visiting Kompava Georgia. This is the first enterprise of proteins and other supplements opened in the Caucasus, the Economy Ministry says. As part of Enterprise Georgia’s program for co-funding industrial loan interest, LLC Kompava Georgia has created an entirely new, modern, and high-technology enterprise to produce proteins, complex vitamins, and other supplements, she said.
“With the Government’s support, a new enterprise has launched an operation to produce proteins and other supplements. The company also plans to launch exports, first of all, to the neighboring countries. We expect Kompava Georgia to boost sales soon and expand output and create new job places”, Natia Turnava said, Kompava Georgia packages products in 300-gram to 5-kg containers. Annual output constitutes 40 tons. At this stage, the company employs 40 persons. Noteworthy that Kompava Georgia is a franchise of Slovakia’s leading brand Kompava.
