Tbilisi to Have 10 Newly Renovated Metro Stations
Ten metro stations of the Tbilisi metro system will be renovated with the financial support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has announced.
The stations that will be renovated are: Guramishvili, Station Square, Sarajishvili, Marjanishvili, Freedom Square, 300 Aragveli, Rustaveli, Isani, Tsereteli and Nadzaladevi.
Kaladze said that a tender for the project will be announced by the end of 2020.
He added that currently, metro station Gotsiridze is being renovated and soon Varketili and Avlabari stations will also be renovated.
