Tbilisi City Hall is ready to shelter Ukrainian refugees, - the mayor of the capital Kakha Kaladze said.

He also added that there will be several places in Tbilisi where citizens can deliver products to help Ukraine. The Tbilisi government is ready to participate in the humanitarian aid process for Ukraine.

"At a time of great difficulty for Ukraine, we all continue to support the Ukrainian people in various ways, within our capabilities, in a united way. From the very first days of the war, our state has been providing assistance to the citizens of Ukraine staying in Georgia. Humanitarian aid has been sent to Ukraine and humanitarian aid is still being mobilized throughout the country, involving the private sector and ordinary citizens, along with government agencies.

Tbilisi, one of the solidarity cities, has expressed its readiness to shelter Ukrainian citizens and help ease the pain they are experiencing today. I am ready to make my own contribution and resettle Ukrainian families with personal funds before peace is established in Ukraine.
