Several Companies Show Interest in Tbilisi TV Tower Rehabilitation Project

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze introduced the idea a month ago and noted that Tbilisi City Hall and the Economy Ministry would announce an interest expression for tourism infrastructure development on Tbilisi TV Tower.

As noted by Tbilisi Government officials, the interest expression has not been announced yet.

“At this stage, we are specifying final details of the interest expression and we will introduce these details in the near future. As for conditions and terms, they will be unveiled after announcement of interest expression and any interested body will be able to participate in it”, the city hall officials noted.

Several companies have already showed interest in this project, the city hall representatives noted, but abstained from naming them.

“Several companies are interested in this project and several meetings and consultations were held so far. The winner will be determined after the announcement of interest expression. The winner company must prepare feasibility studies, initially, and provide detailed designing works. Only after that the parties will take a joint decision on the project implementation”, the city hall representatives noted.
Total value of the project will be GEL 10-15 million, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze noted a month ago.
