New Program Launched for Georgian Agribusinesses to Access Export Markets
The USAID Agriculture Program, Enterprise Georgia, and Rural Development Agency have launched an innovative export business lead generation program for Georgian agribusinesses.
The program aims to connect Georgian producers with qualified buyers in Germany and the Gulf states. Up to 80 export-oriented blueberry growers, nuts, and food processors countrywide have been selected to participate in the program. The contracted reputable international consulting company will closely work with Georgian companies to tailor their offers, identify qualified buyers in the targeted export markets, and assist with negotiations to facilitate business deals.
Within the scope of this project, tens of Georgian companies are expected to enter the high-end export markets.
The business lead generation program is implemented within the framework of the Georgian Agri Export Group formed by the USAID Agriculture Program, Enterprise Georgia, and Rural Development Agency.
