The JSC TbilAviaMsheni and the STC Delta restored the enterprise located over the 3000m2 plot of land and equipped it with the modern technologies. This will allow the enterprise to repair and renovate the various types of aircraft of the Georgian Defence Forces as well as the foreign air forces in compliance with the modern standards.
“The JSC TbilAviaMsheni and the STC Delta jointly employ about 200 people and supply Georgian armed forces with the restored planes and helicopters. Following the initiative of the Ministry of Defence, production has been resumed in a few months and the country’s armed forces now have a virtually strong production base. It is important that the younger generation will be raised here and the students of the Aviation University will undergo paid internships, which will create substantial prospect for their employment,” – Natia Turnava said.
