Georgia’s Foreign Trade Turnover in January-September Declined by 14.9%

Georgia’s foreign trade turnover in January-September 2020 (without undeclared trade) marked $8.121 billion, down 14.9% year on year.

According to the preliminary report by Geostat, the national statistics service of Georgia, the exports marked $2.403 billion, down 12.1% and the imports amounted to $5.717 billion, down 15.9% year on year. The negative trade balance constituted $3.314 billion, that is, 40.8% in foreign trade turnover. The final indicators will be published on October 19.
