Georgia's economy shrank by 16.6% in April.
Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of the National Statistics Office, stated about it.
According to him, the average real growth in January-April is negative and -3.6%.
"According to preliminary estimates, in April, compared to the same period last year, real GDP growth slowed somewhat and we are facing a 16.6% decline in the economy. Therefore, the average real growth in the first 4 months is -3.6%, ”said Todradze.
