Georgia's assessment has improved in terms of budget oversight - an increase from 74 points to 82 points compared to the 2017 survey results. Also, there is an improvement in the involvement of citizens.

The Ministry of Finance of Georgia continues to work on public finance reform, including the introduction of tools for citizen engagement.

The Citizens' Involvement Portal https://ebtps.mof.ge/ has already been launched since 2020, the results of which have not yet been reflected in the open budget survey.

Budget Transparency Research is conducted by the non-governmental sector - Transparency International Georgia is involved in the study of budget transparency in Georgia.
