Georgia Partly Suspends Regular Air Service Until 2021
The Georgian Aviation Authority has made another correction in the existing active NOTAM, according to which Georgia will partly suspend regular air service until January 1, 2021.
The restriction on the implementation of regular international air traffic has been extended and is valid until December 31, 2020 (31.12.20).
The restriction does not apply to direct international flights that end between Tbilisi International Airport (ICAO code UGTB) and the airports of some capital cities.
Due to the fact that the situation for the aviation sector in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic is difficult to predict, and in the light of the increase in the number of cases of infection in the world, border and sanitary restrictions are still imposed by the states.
Passengers should therefore be careful and carefully read the destination country regulations, airline notices, and official statements and schedules when planning a trip.
