Georgia Ministry of Health is Ready to Send Blood and Medical Staff to Ukraine if Necessary
Georgia will supply blood to Ukraine if necessary, according to Minister of Health Zurab Azarashvili. Furthermore, the Minister claims that if Ukraine requests it, Georgia will deploy medical staff.
"We had communication with the relevant agency of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. We asked if there was a need for a blood supply, to which they said there was no need today, however, we still sent a certain mass of erythrocytes from our existing supplies with cargo to Ukraine.
There were many questions about blood donation. We have close communication with the Embassy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. If there is a need for this, we are ready for it," said Azarashvili.
