Fruit Processing Plant will be Built in Lechkhumi with Polish Investment

It is planned to build a fruit and dried fruit processing plant in Lechkhumi with Polish investment. Tsageri Mayor Avtandil Ugrekhelidze told "Business Partner" about it.

According to him, at this stage, investors have already conducted a study on fruit and what resources are available in the region.

"From next year, when the flights will be regular, this project will be actively implemented. The main interest is the production of juices and dried fruits, ”said Ugrekhelidze.

According to him, the cost of the project will be about 2 million GEL.

Asked exactly where the factory will be built and whether investors have chosen a location, Ugrekhelidze explains that they currently consider two villages, one of which will be selected.

As for raw materials and labor, Avtandil Ugrekhelidze says that Polish investors will receive raw materials from locals.
