ENER-T: Georgia’s Critical Goal is to Diversity Renewable Energy Sources

Georgia’s overriding priority is to diversify renewable energy sources, ENER-T company representatives noted.

Approximately 81% of electricity in Georgia is generated by hydro power plants, but the facilities can employ only 60% of their potential because of wearout.
Electricity stations may be added to the Energy Collection System that will extend its operating time for several hours.

We remind you that Israeli’s one of the major energy corporations ENER-T expressed readiness to enter Georgia’s energy market and build solar power stations in April 2021. The corporation’s top managers were hosted by Economy Minister Natia Turnava.

At the meeting the company representatives unveiled plans for making investments in Georgia’s renewable energy sector and build 100 megawatt solar power station in Georgia.
