Economy Minister Visits Electric Transport Manufacturing Company in Belarus

Together with the Georgian delegation, Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava has visited BelCommunMash, the leading Belarusian public electric transport manufacturer, and Chinese-Belarus industrial park in Minsk.

At BelCommunMash, the Georgian delegation was updated on production of electric buses and the delegation members saw the Holding-manufactured electric vehicles.

The Belarusian officials expressed readiness to expand cooperation with the Georgian Party and supply Belarus electric buses to Georgia.

As part of the visit, Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava met with Belarusian Prime Minister Sergey Romass. Furthermore, on February 19 Minsk will host the sixth meeting of Belarus-Georgia economic cooperation intergovernmental commission, where the Parties will discuss cooperation expansion opportunities in such fields as commerce, agro industry, transport, information technologies and innovations, tourism, education, culture, sports, healthcare and so on. At the end of the meeting, the Parties will sign the minutes.

The Georgian delegation is represented by several Ministries: Deputy Economy Minister Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, Partnership Fund’s executive director David Saganelidze; Tbilisi Vice Mayor Ilia Eloshvili; State Governor in Kakheti Region Irakli Kadagishvili; State Governor in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region Aleksandre Motserelia, Poti Mayor Gocha Kurdghelia.
