Detailed Map of Export Potential and Energy Capacity of Georgia Discussed with Siemens Energy
Detailed map of energy capacity and export potential of Georgia with comprehensive coverage of transport and transit aspects, may be developed in partnership with Siemens Energy Corp.
It was noted at a meeting of Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia with Michael Sen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG held within the scope of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos today.
Discussions were focused on the strategic location of Georgia and favorable investment climate, leading position of the country in reputable international ratings.
Head of Government of Georgia invited officials of Siemens Energy to study investment environment and production opportunities within the country.
"Georgia has a very strategic location in the region in view of its neighboring countries. We spoke on how to create an electrification map of the country so that it covers the most important transport and transit aspects. Everything starts from the first step and obviously Siemens wants to partner with the country in this effort" noted the CEO of Siemens Energy Corp.
