Bevrili Group Delivers 6,000 Tons of Wheat to Poti Seaport

Bevrili Group has transported 6,000 tons of wheat to Poti Seaport. The company plans to increase this reserve by additional 12,000 tons. On the whole, the company has bought 18,000 tons of wheat.

Besides wheat exports, Bevrili Group also produces pastry. Despite the state of emergency, the company continues operation for 24 hours without obstacles. The company has applied for the state subsidization program and therefore, it has not increased product prices.

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti State Governor Aleksandre Motserelia and Poti Mayor Gocha Kurdgelia have visited the Poti Seaport to see the production process and the existing reserves.

The company supplies wheat to all regions of Georgia and bakes 27,000 units of bread every day, 11 varieties of pastry, 16 varieties of biscuits. More than 250 employees participate in the production process. The company follows the Health Ministry recommendations.

At the same time, Bevrili Group has transferred 100.000 GEL to COVID-19 elimination fund as part of the social responsibility campaign.
