Austrian-made Trucks Undergone Major Repairs

Georgian Railway uses modern Austrian-made trucks for capital and current maintenance of the railway.

These works are carried out by two units of "VPR-09/32" and one unit of "VPR-08/32" type loading-repairing sliding machines. Using which, annually, an average of 50-60 km. Railway repair work is being completed.

During operation, the machines experience wear and tear and require major repairs. This year, two trucks have already undergone major repairs and modernization of the computer system. By the end of the year, a complete repair of the third car is planned.

The technical efficiency of the trains is an important factor in ensuring the safe movement of trains.
