Airplane Compound Materials Manufacturing Company ATC Expands Production Line

Despite losses amid the pandemic, the airplane compound materials manufacturing company ATC has launched new projects.

In 2020, the company invested several million USD and purchased new equipment and machinery. As the company financial director Misha Begiashvili told Business Partner, negotiations are underway for signing new contracts.

“In 2021, we launched 3 new projects for the production of new types of parts, not only compound parts, but also metal parts. This is the production of technical doors of airplanes and this requires a quite complicated engineering solution. At this stage, we are carrying out research works and the production of new parts will start at the end of 2021. We are very close to attracting new contracts. New projects will be launched in 2022 and we will diversify our production. We will use a new generation of technologies”, Begiashvili said. The company sales dropped by 35% amid the pandemic, but the company management expects the development paces to recover n 2023.
