Adjaristsqali Georgia has New Directors of the Supervisory Board
Asbjorn Grundt and Tron Engbretsen have been nominated as directors of the Supervisory Board of Adjaristsqali Georgia, the owner of Shuakhevi HPP.
Asbjorn Grundt has many years of experience working in the international hydropower sector. He was a European Wind and Solar Market Operator (EVP), IT and worked on international hydropower issues at Statkraft. He also worked for six years on Norsk Hydro's electricity market operations. Asbjorn Grundt was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SN Power.
Today, Asbourne Grundt is Vice President of Statkraft and heads the Ownership Unit in Business Area Production, which oversees Statkraft's ownership interests in the hydropower sector. He is also a member of the non-executive board of Agder Energi, Eviny and Skagerak Energi.
As for another new member of the council, Tron Engbretsen, he has the best international experience in the field of energy. He has been the Executive Vice President of SN Power, has been the Regional Director for Southern Norway, the Director of Energy Generation, and the International Vice President of Statkraft. He has worked in the Philippines, India, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Turkey and Albania. The construction of the Moglice HPP was carried out under his responsibility.
Tron Engbretsen was a member and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Finnmark Energi AS, a member of the Supervisory Boards of Trondheim Energi AS, KVO, Oslo Energi. He is still a member of the TEJV Supervisory Board in Chile.
