What Restrictions Were Lifted in Georgia
Starting 6:00 am, April 27, restrictions on driving a light car (M1) have been lifted. Furthermore, taxis are allowed to resume operation; online commerce (retail and wholesale), delivery services on any products and open agrarian markets are authorized to resume operation, Georgian Prime Minister’s press speaker Irakli Chikovani noted.
The mentioned restrictions have been removed all over Georgia, excluding the locked down municipalities and administrative cities, where strict quarantine regime runs.
At the same time, starting April 15 entrance and exit to and from Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi and Kutaisi remains banned unless the state of emergency is removed.
Nevertheless, notwithstanding the mentioned limitation, on April 27 and April 28 this restriction will be temporarily suspended for those citizens, who plan to return to their permanent residence places.
